Thank You to Mohave HS FCCLA Early Childhood Sponsors!
WAVE JTED Board

The Western Arizona Vocational Education District is a joint technical education district organized by voting districts. The voters approved of organizing the district and the tax-based-funding-source for supporting career & technical education to high school districts. Those dollars are monitored by a local superintendent and district board. Without our tax-payer support, your participation in CTSO's would have never come together as currently facilitated. CTSO's are costly endeavors, that often times rural & low-economic families cannot afford to participate in. The tax dollars have been used to upgrade curriculum, assessment resources, facilities, and equipment aligned with industry standard. Thank you WAVE for letting us have unforgettable opportunities!

 Superintendent West

Superintendent West is the appointed superintendent of our JTED. She administrates the funding allocations and other related deeds necessary to meet our compliance objectives in career and technical education programs. She plays a big role in our chapter by funding our Early Childhood program! Superintendent West also provides necessary materials and equipment for students to learn industry standards. She makes it possible for our program to have a high quality childcare center! Thank you for making students' education abilities increase!

Superintendent Wilcox

Mr. Wilcox, our high school district superintendent is a strong advocate of our CTE programs,  & of our goals to increase the rigor of our programs, including dual enrollment and concurrent enrollment opportunities. He is also a big advocate to the values of CTSO's; the job-skill and leadership opportunities. He believes students should be involved in extra-curricular activities because they help students build a personal, well-rounded work readiness portfolio. Mr. Wilcox has advocated for the career & college fair for all students, as he believes that all students need additional education options after high school.  Mr. Wilcox shows his support by visiting our Childcare Center regularly.  He loves to see all of our students working with our Tiny T-Birds, and catch up on what the Early Childhood Education program has been up to. Thank you, Mr. Wilcox, for showing support to not only our program and chapter, but to Tiny T-Birds as well!

Are You Looking to Sponsor Mohave HS FCCLA Early Childhood Chapter?

We Greatly Appreciate Your Consideration!

Arizona allows state income taxpayers to receive a tax credit of up to $400 ($200 for individuals) for contributions made to public schools to support extracurricular activities (A.R.S.43-1089.01).  The tax credit is available to all taxpayers whether or not they have children in the public schools.  The law allows subtraction of your donation from the amount of taxes you owe.  The tax credit can be claimed in personal income tax returns only.

Contributions are donated directly to schools, not to the state.  The funds are not subject to the revenue control limit that prevents schools from spending more than a fixed amount for programs.  This increased funding will allow more children to participate in activities.  You can contribute to any activity or academic program for which the school district requires a fee.

Get a Tax Credit for participating:

  • It's a Dollar for Dollar subtraction from your State income tax liability.

  • Participate up to $200 single or $400 married

  • Helps extracurricular activities; band, choir, sports, clubs, and technology

  • It either lowers the State tax you owe or increases your refund.

  • You tell the state where you want your Tax dollars to go.

  • You keep your State tax money in Bullhead City and Mohave Valley.

  • You select the school to help.
