List of Awards for 2018/2019:

  • Hayley Teague won Arizona  FCCLA Member of the Month in August 2018.

  • Maria Villarreal won Arizona FCCLA Member of the Month in December 2018.

  • KayLee Lowe won 1st Place in the Early Childhood Challenge at National Cluster Meeting in Phoenix. 

  • Adriana Martinez placed 2nd in FCCLA Knowledge at National Cluster Meeting in Phoenix. 

  • Hannah Leyendecker got 3rd place in Toys That Teach at National Cluster Meeting in Phoenix. 

  • Eileen Flores achieved 3rd place in Job Interview at National Cluster Meeting in Phoenix.

  • Jordan Brown won 3rd place in Impromptu Speaking at National Cluster Meeting in Phoenix. 

  • Maria Villarreal got 1st place in Toys That Teach at National Cluster Meeting in Phoenix.

  • Cami Clark got 2nd place in Toys That Teach at National Cluster Meeting in Phoenix.

  • Josephine Marsmaker earned her Child Development Associate Credential in Infant & Toddler.

  • Maythe Maya earned her Child Development Associate Credential in Infant & Toddler.

  • Tiger Lily Le earned her Child Development Associate Credential in Infant & Toddler.

  • Jordan Brown, Eileen Flores, Nick Cabanillas, Maythe Maya, Adriana Martinez, and KayLee Lowe completed the Power of One Portfolio.

  • Maythe Maya was the first member to complete all five units!

  • The MHS ECE FCCLA Chapter won first place in the Lead 4 Change Challenge earning $10,000 to give to the With Out Waste Produce Market.

  • Rachel Cooper won the $1,000 Arizona FCS Education Scholarship. 

  • Adriana Martinez was accepted into the Arizona State Executive Council as the Vice President of Public Relations.

  • The MHS ECE FCCLA Chapter dined  in with FCS on Family Consumer Sciences day.

  • Adriana Martinez & Danielle Martinez received a gold medal in Chapter in Review: Display.

  • KayLee Lowe & Emily Krebs received a gold medal in Chapter in Review: Portfolio. 

  • Cami Clark & Hannah Leyendeker received a gold medal in National Programs in Action with a perfect score.

  • Jordan Brown & Yesenia Rios received a gold medal in Professional Presentation. 

  • Eileen Flores & Maythe Maya received a gold medal in Professional Presentation. 

  • Aly Bare received a gold medal in Focus on Children. 

  • Elise Ramstetter received a silver medal in Career Investigation.

  • Chyanne Callan recieved a silver medal in Nutrition & Wellness.

  • Nine out of thirteen competitors that went to State Leadership Conference in 2019 went to National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California. 

  • The MHS ECE FCCLA Chapter recieved Gold Chapter Recognition at the 2019 State Leadership Conference.

  • Dinah Williams won 2018/2019 Adviser of the Year at State Leadership Conference.
